HEADLINE: 75 Years in the Making
Who is The Lyric Architect? I am a father of 10, a grandfather of 19, and a man with a storied past. I am a storyteller, a bluesman, and a street musician. At 75 years old, I have seen enough of life to know that every good song starts with a story.
I operate under two names:
- The Lyric Architect: The writer. I build songs from the ground up, crafting lyrics that tell the truth about life, hard luck, and the “race to the bottom.”
- HarpdogRickster: The performer. This is the grit, the harmonica, and the voice you hear on the tracks.
The Music My sound is rooted in the Blues and Boogie Rock, but I don’t let genres fence me in. Whether it is the heavy stomp of Chicago Blues or a high-speed rock track, the goal is always the same: to make you feel something real.
Old Soul, New Tools I have been around long enough to respect tradition, but I’m not afraid of the future. I use modern technology to help bring my lyrics to life, proving that creativity has no expiration date. This website is the home for my entire catalog—my legacy of songs, lyrics, and art.
